Set up your free Supabase database

Go to supabase.com and create a free account. Create a new project called "tendaza". This gives you a PostgreSQL database where all your scraped tenders will be stored. Copy your Project URL and anon key — you'll need them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tendaza AI at www.tendaza.africa ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, subscribers, and visitors worldwide.

2. Ownership & Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all software, code, design, content, data, logos, trademarks, and the name "Tendaza AI" are the exclusive intellectual property of Tendaza Technologies Ltd, incorporated in Uganda. All rights reserved.

TENDAZA™ and TENDAZA AI™ are trademarks of Tendaza Technologies Ltd. You may not use our name, logo, or brand without express written permission.

This platform is protected under the Uganda Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act (Cap 218), the Berne Convention, and applicable laws in all 181 signatory countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Ghana and Nigeria.

3. Prohibited Uses

You are strictly prohibited from:
• Copying, reproducing, distributing or selling any part of the Platform
• Reverse engineering, decompiling or extracting the source code
• Creating derivative products or competing services using our code or data
• Scraping, harvesting or systematically downloading tender data from our Platform
• Using our brand name, logo or design for any purpose
• Reselling, sublicensing or transferring access to your account
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination and legal action.

4. Subscription & Payments

Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually in USD with local currency equivalents. Payments are processed via Flutterwave, M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Visa and Mastercard. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Data & Accuracy

Tender data is sourced from official government portals and private sources. While we strive for accuracy, Tendaza AI does not guarantee the completeness or currency of tender information. Always verify directly with the contracting authority before submitting a bid. We are not liable for any loss resulting from reliance on our data.

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI Bid Writer and AI Q&A features generate content for guidance only. This does not constitute legal or professional advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated bid proposals before submission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Tendaza Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala, Uganda. For users in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Ghana and Nigeria, local consumer protection laws also apply.
